Mayo Clinic recently received an Aster Award for design of its Individualizing Medicine Conference website.

Design for last year's inaugural conference was a fantastic collaborative effort between the Center for Individualized Medicine and Mayo's talented creative team in Global Business Solutions and Media Support Services. Notable to the Aster judges was the site's mobile optimization, which offers mobile device users a unique and satisfying experience -- at least we hope so.

The Aster Awards Program is a medical marketing awards program allowing health care organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similarly sized competitors from across the nation and world. Each year, the Aster Awards Program has an annual contest allowing entries designed, printed, and/or distributed the previous year to be scored, judged, and recognized for excellence in health care marketing and advertising. The program is hosted by Creative Images, Inc., an internationally recognized firm that has specialized in strategic health care marketing for more than 20 years.

Check out the site -- maybe from your handheld device -- and see if you agree with the Aster judges.

And did we mention that registration is now open for Individualizing Medicine 2013: From Promise to Practice? Because it is, and it's easy to register online in just a few minutes. Hope to see you in Rochester for the 2013 conference, scheduled for Sept. 30 through Oct. 2 in Rochester, Minn.

Abstract submission deadline is also rapidly approaching. Case study and research abstracts are being accepted through June 14. Check out the conference abstracts page for more information about how to submit an abstract.
