Personalized Medicine: The Changing Landscape of Health Care

Speaking at the Individualizing Medicine Conference 2013, Edward Abrahams, Ph.D. presents on the changing landscape that genomics is creating throughout health care. Not only within the health care industry itself, the field of Individualized Medicine and the power that genomics brings, is also changing the way people in Washington D.C. think about the way it should interact and prepare for the future of health care.

Edward Abrahams, Ph.D. is president of the Personalized Medicine Coalition. Representing innovators, scientists, patients, providers and payers, the Personalized Medicine Coalition promotes the understanding and adoption of personalized medicine concepts, services and products for the benefit of patients and the health system. It has grown from its original 18 founding members in 2004 to more than 225 today.
